App-based management increases efficiency and reduces FTAI costs

The purpose of managing information is to analyze results and decide whether to maintain or adjust procedures. In a fixed-time artificial insemination (FTAI) program, this means monitoring cow category, body condition score, hormonal protocol, bull identification and semen batch, among other factors.

Recording data without analyzing results is not enough. Reviewing indicators from the first groups helps identify what works and what should change in subsequent protocols, while the breeding season is still underway. That is FTAI management in practice.

Agribov was developed to collect information at each protocol stage and generate indicators after pregnancy diagnosis. Cow category, drugs, semen and insemination technicians can be analyzed to support the team's decisions.

Work in the handling pens can continue offline. Once the connection is restored, data syncs to the cloud. Reports also help share results with everyone involved in farm management.

An organized database serves different users: farmers tracking each group, professionals working on several farms and researchers who need standardized information. Less rework and more readily available information help make everyday work more efficient.
